SUMMIT CONVENIENT CARE AT LEBANON WELCOMES VICKIE BUSH
July 15, 2009 Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon welcomes Vickie Bush as the new office manger. This Mt. Juliet resident comes back to Wilson County to manage operations at Summit Convenient Care. Bush grew up in the Wilson County area and attended Lebanon High School. She went on to carve out a successful career in Nashville, and she now has over twenty years experience in healthcare.
Bush started her career as a certified nurse technician, then earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Parkview Hospital School of Nursing. Bush practiced as a nurse for Green Hills Plastic Surgery, followed by a long stent at Sterling Primary Care. After practicing as an L.P.N. at Sterling for fourteen years, she took on the responsibilities of practice manger. She managed thirty employees and six physicians in the day-today operations. She is a member of the L.P.N Association of Tennessee and the Academy of Professional Coders of Tennessee.
Now Bush is happy to work close to home. Bush says, After many years of working in Nashville, I am excited to return to Wilson County to serve my community. In her spare time, Bush enjoys fishing on Old Hickory Lake and spending time with her daughter and two granddaughters.
Summit Convenient Care of Lebanon provides treatment for minor injury or illness that needs medical attention, but does not require Emergency Room service; medical care after normal business hours and on weekends; and care from specially trained nurse practitioners and support staff. Minor ailments like the flu, allergic reactions, strep throat, and minor fractures and wounds are treated on a walk-in basis at a cost that is less than a trip to a hospital emergency room. School and sports physicals are also offered at the facility.
Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon is open Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility is located in the new 75,000 square foot Physicians Plaza of Lebanon building at 100 Physicians Way, Suite 110, just off I-40 at South Hartmann Drive in Lebanon.
